What is Bayarsama?
Bayarsama is a bill-splitting app for iOS. It helps you divide bills among friends with support for service charges, taxes, discounts, and 13 currencies — with more coming soon.
Is Bayarsama free?
Yes. The core bill-splitting features are completely free. Bayarsama Pro unlocks additional features like unlimited friends and groups, full order history, receipt attachments, and clean PDF exports without watermarks.
What does Bayarsama Pro include?
Pro gives you unlimited friends and Bayar Kaki groups, full order history access, receipt image attachments, and clean PDF exports. You can subscribe quarterly, yearly (includes a 1-week free trial), or purchase a one-time lifetime unlock.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions, then tap Bayarsama to manage or cancel. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I request a refund?
Since purchases are processed by Apple, refund requests must go through Apple directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and select the purchase you would like to be refunded for.
Where is my data stored?
All your personal data (orders, friend groups, payment profiles, receipt images) is stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my data?
Since all data is stored on your device, deleting the Bayarsama app will permanently remove all your data. There is no cloud account or server-side data to worry about.
Why does the app ask for camera access?
The camera is used to photograph receipts and attach them to your orders for easy reference. This permission is optional — you can deny it and still use the app fully without it.
Why does the app ask for photo library access?
Photo library access is used to save and load QR codes for payment methods like DuitNow and PayNow. This lets you store payment QR codes in the app for easy sharing. This permission is also optional.
Which currencies are supported?
Bayarsama supports 13 currencies: MYR (Malaysian Ringgit), SGD (Singapore Dollar), USD (US Dollar), IDR (Indonesian Rupiah), THB (Thai Baht), PHP (Philippine Peso), VND (Vietnamese Dong), GBP (British Pound), EUR (Euro), JPY (Japanese Yen), KRW (Korean Won), AUD (Australian Dollar), and INR (Indian Rupee).
